No Strings Attached (Rebel Walking Series #3)

No Strings Attached (Rebel Walking Series #3) by [Storm, Hilary]

5 Stars!!

No Strings Attached
(Rebel Walking Series #3)

I am sooo loving the Rebel Walking series! I actually read 1-4 a year or more ago and just recently saw the books on my shelf and wondered if another had come out! (A major move and accident kept me from my books!) I have loved the characters, even if I didn't like them at times, and have enjoyed their depth of emotions and relate-ability. This story is fun, flirty, sexy, and heartwarming all at the same time! I can not wait to get my hands on book 5!!

Hidden in the Pages by Mindy Haig

Hidden in the Pages by [Haig, Mindy]

5 stars!
By Mindy Haig
One thing I've truly enjoyed about Mindy Haig's writing, and this novel is no different, is that she has such unique, fresh concepts as the basis of her books.  After you've read voraciously for twenty years, you find yourself dragging through one of a few "patterns" of plots and it gets harder and harder to find a new, interesting concept that sparks your love of reading again.  Hidden in the Pages is a lovely story about a journal that allows you to find and connect with your soul mate, however, you can't share any identifying facts.  Jantzen and his father Patrick experience the mystery and wonder of the journal as it's passed down through the men in their family.  Sometimes it brings comfort and laughter while other times it is a burden to carry through their daily lives.  This tale really shows how living your life in the here and now is just as important as planning for your future.

Review of About A Vampire by Lynsay Sands

Review of About A Vampire

(An Argeneau Novel)
By Lynsay Sands

4 out of 5 stars

I have loved the Argeneau Novels and couldn't wait to get Justin's story.  From his teasing of the other Enforcers when they found their life mate, I figured his fall from single-hood would be epic. This story wasn't exactly what I had hoped for but it was a good, solid read that kept my interest and attention easily.  I am a huge Lynsay Sands fan so I will eagerly await the next installment!!

Review of Trusting Liam
(A Taking Chances and Forging Lies Novel)
by Molly McAdams

5 out of 5 stars

This was my first Molly McAdams' book and I have no clue what rock I've been hiding under, but I am sooo thankful I got out from under it and found this book!!  The characters are really well developed, it has a fun, steady pace that kept my focus and interest throughout the whole book, and I enjoyed the sweet, sexy, rich plot!  I can't wait to find more by her and take them under my rock so I can read without interruptions!!

I highly recommend this book!

Review of Loving Dallas by Caisey Quinn

Review of Loving Dallas
(A Neon Dreams Novel-Book 2)
by Caisey Quinn

5 out of 5 stars

I don't know how I missed that this was the second book in a series...duh...; ) But I did, so I'm going to review this as is, with no prior knowledge of the characters or story line.

First things first, I WILL be reading Leaving Amarillo like today! This was my first Caisey Quinn book and I have to say, she has a new fan so far!! Excellent writing style, smooth easy reading, and just an enjoyable/relate-able/real story line that made me think about the characters and what they were doing while I was doing the HAVE TO's of life. (cooking, dishes, laundry..you know the things that just never end!)

I highly recommend this book, but only if you read #1 first!! lol

Review of Strong Mothers, Strong Sons by Meg Meeker, M.D.

Review of Strong Mothers, Strong Sons
by Meg Meeker, M.D.

5 Out of 5 Stars

I've read all but a few of Dr. Meeker's books and I have to say each one has opened my eyes to a better way to parent and a better view into myself. As a woman and mother of a 15 year old son, who only had sisters when I was growing up, this was such a wonderful read for me!!! I needed the practical knowledge that may seem obvious to others, the statistical details that help me understand today's youth, and the advice on how to better understand what is going on in my son's testosterone filled body/brain! If you haven't latched on to Dr. Meeker for advice and support you are missing a HUGE resource of practical and medical knowledge that comes in a well written format that reads like one mom talking to another!!

Review of Frayed (A Connections Series Book 4)
by Kim Karr

4 out of 5 Stars!

I already knew I loved Kim Karr's style of writing, so reading The Connections Series was a natural jump for me. I was not disappointed in the series or Frayed specifically!
Steamy, relate-able, with just the right amount of angst makes this a fantastic read!
